NorthSide Vision
NorthSide Aquatics vision is to help novice and expert
aquarists and pond owners
achieve success and happiness in their hobby by providing expert
education, individualized service, and a broad selection of
livestock and dry goods.
We pride ourselves on our outstanding customer service.
We take time to answer questions and we make every effort to be
sure that each customer is purchasing the right critters for a
planned or existing setup. Having an aquarium or pond is
something that everyone can do, but it does require a bit of
knowledge. It is our goal to make sure that every customer
is well-educated so that he or she can have a successful
experience with keeping aquatic plants and animals.
Our services include retail sales of
marine and
freshwater fish,
coral, live rock,
pond
supplies, and aquatic plants;
maintenance for commercial
and residential locations;
and custom design and installation.
NorthSide History
NorthSide was founded in August of 2003 as a hobbyist local fish
store operated
exclusively in the evenings and on weekends. The first
store was located at
the north end of Maumelle Blvd. near the Morgan exit in an old
mechanic's
garage of approximately 1400 sq. ft.
Due to an ever-increasing demand for a full time store dedicated
to all things aquatic, NorthSide decided to open regular retail
hours in the fall of 2007. To better serve its customers
through a more accessible location, NorthSide also moved
to a
4,000 sq. ft. store on Counts Massie Road in Maumelle /
North Little Rock.
Since opening in its new location in August 2007, NorthSide
Aquatics has
continued to grow rapidly, adding new products every week to its
inventory and diversifying its livestock selection by increasing
the number of fish systems.
Still independently owned and operated by
hobbyists, NorthSide Aquatics
prides itself on being Arkansas' largest aquarium store.
Customers to our store routinely drive from as far away as Fort
Smith, Heber Springs, El Dorado,
Hot Springs, and Memphis, TN to shop at our store.
